This is an extra credit vase that I made and glazed especially for the fourth of July and to withhold a bouquet of flowers quite possibly. The shape of the vase itself is elongated and has a narrower neck and a stouter bottom and a flared rim. I think the uneven glazing lines of the three colors creates a sort of topsy-turvy feel to the vase itself.

This three set of bowls is my hand and wheel alter. on each of the bowls I broke off the rim of the bowl to create a broken appeal, with the glazing of the horizontal lines on the bowls, creating that effect of length and continuation when the bowls suddenly seem to stop at the broken edge giving it a contrasting feel to the viewer.

This is another extra credit mug, while throwing this mug I indented numerous lines on the outside of the mug to give it a different sight to look at besides the actual mug itself.  The mug is glazed in matt green but was fired in the gas kiln which is what gave a sort of sheen. I then reglazed it in bright blue turquoise on the handle, giving it that light blue look. Unfortunately the handle on this mug broke when I took it home but was able to repai

This an extra credit mug which is much more bellied out than most common mugs. The mug itself is glazed in sand and the lip is dripped with blue.  The handle on the mug itself is very large according to the mug, since the mug is rather large. This mug has a very different and unique look.

This is my lidded project which I also decided to make a coordinating plate to match it.  The project is glazed in bright, springtime colors, having the dark shade of the purple on the inside create depth, also contrasting the light shade of the blue. The knob on the lid is glazed in purple and also with a splash of the light blue to create that full congruence to the viewer.

For this mug, I decided to decorate the handle with a template design, making the handle seem molded into the mug.  The dainty look of the flowers on the handle work well with the elegance of the color purple which it is glazed in. Unifying the project together making it very appealin

This vase is tall and narrow through the body and flares out at the lip giving is a look of elegance. The vase itself is glazed in metallic brown with stripes of light blue. Using tape on the stripes gives the vase a uniform look, being that all the stripes are the same width.

This is an extra bowl that I made. It is glazed on the outside with black and dripped with metallic brown, and the inside is completely glazed in metallic brown. The dark colors give the bowl depth, even more with the steeper walls of the bowl itself.

This is my 2 plate project.  Since the shape and form of the plate itself is so simple I decided to cross glaze them, one side in blue and the other in shadow green. One plate is smaller than the other creating for a visual contrast rather than having two plates the same size.
