For this bowl, I ribbed out the sides and created the basic bowl shape. Since the shape is so basic, I added detail to it by staining hibiscus like flowers on the outside with blue stain and then the center is glazed with solid blue glaze.  Giving a contraction look on the inside and then the expansion of depth on the outside caused by the lightness of the clear.

For this project I started with a basic cylinder shape which then semi rounded out the walls and brought them up, then flaring the lip a little to create the appeal of a vase-like shape. Then adding the lined detail on the side to create a 2D shape on a 3D figure, creating that contrast of dimensions.

For this shape, the base is a basic cylinder which I rounded out the walls and choked the top to come in and then largely flared out the lip making a more dramatic appeal to the onlooker. The lightness of the shadow green contracts the shape creating space and depth.

For my wheel alter project I created a shorter bowl with a wavy, organic lip. Since the bowl is so small the altered lip is highly prominent in its appearance. The project is glazed in a silvery blue color which creates a sense of metallic sheen to it.

This wheel project is a basic cylinder shape which I rounded out the base and flared the lip creating a more wide vase. The project is glazed in an elegant indigo blue to parallel the elegant form of the project itself. Creating one solid color because it is still a more simplistic shape.

For this tall form, all it is is a basic cylinder which I pulled up more to make a taller slimmer shape. Since it was so plain on its own I decided to pull a handle for it and turn my tall project into a tall mug.  The project is glazed in matt turquoise which is plain but bright giving it an element of depth and size and the all around same glaze adding to the simplicity of the shape itself.
