My theme being the interrelation between the 2nd and 3rd dimensions and how they come together to creating a uniformly appealing image to the viewer.  Leaving the onlooker feeling mentally they have had to see into the different aspects of the project itself and analyze the connections within the 3 dimensional project itself and the two dimensional glaze or decoration on it. Having the movement and flow of one dimension align with the other in harmony. Almost every one of my projects this semester has been altered as of being made on the wheel. Whether that be adding a handle, adding in 2D lines, adjusting the lip, or just adding a more decorative glaze to the simple wheel thrown shape of the project itself.

Through the basic implications and ideas of my theme, this semester I have been playing around with the idea of glazing more, and all that it can really add to the project itself. The glaze itself is an accessory that is to be utilized according to the movement and flow of the project's shape. By understanding the designs that the glaze and simple add-on shapes contribute to a project, I am better able to understand how the different dimensions work together to create that centralized movement.
